No blog stats or Google Analytics (5 posts)

My blog is fairly new, and I have installed both the wordpress.com blog stats plug-in as well as signed up for google analytics. I just switched my plugin from Google Analyticator, to Google Analytics. Both the wp blog stats and Analytics are not working and have not been for the past few days. When I check my status in Google Analytics it says that it is "receiving data".
I know I'm getting page views because I'm getting comments!
Any ideas for how to fix this?

Where have you placed your google code. If it isn't in a file that is called by wordpress every time the count wont be accurate, it's best to put it in the header.php file.

WordPress.com stats is a different problem most likely. More than likely your hosting provider has the web server blocked from initiating connections to another host. Talk to your host about whether they allow connections to other host to originate from your server.

I haven't placed the google code anywhere, I copied it into the options for the Google Analytics plugin. Maybe I should just do it manually?

    Manually would probably be best.
