   I manage 4 different websites and I'm using WordPress on all of them. One site is hosted by 1&1 and the other 3 are hosted by iPower.

   The site hosted by 1&1 upgraded automatically but the other three just freeze and hang. Could there be a server issue that I need to resolve? It's probably the same problem for each site since they are all hosted by the same ISP.

   IPower, at least on Debian, MySQL 5.0.45, PHP 5.2.2 is reported to work at Core_Update_Host_Compatibility.

   Of course you can try Upgrading WordPress instructions.

   Thanks for the reply. The link to Core_Update is interesting, above my head but interesting.

   I've read all the instructions for Upgrading WordPress and I'll probably end up doing a manual upgrade but that kind of defeats the purpose.
