No automatic email notifications on upgrading to

    I upgraded to newest version, and now automatic email notifications for new posts are not being sent.

    Need HELP on this Asap. on how to turn back on.

    OK, after updating all my plugins, theme page, and widgets the notifications are now being sent. Why is anyone’s guess.

    I would think that a simple yes/no switch in settings would solve this problem from recurring for many users, but then again I dont make my living writing code.

    Why is anyone’s guess.

    The most likely culprits are:
    – a bad plugin
    – a bad theme
    – some corrupted core WordPress files
    – a server issue that has been rectified by your hosts

    Pretty much in that order of likelihood. You can’t add a yes/no switch for something that’s effectively broken because of one of the above.
