No action from insert media button

Just started with WordPress. Have two sites with the same company (free hosting on 000webhost.com) and one works and one doesn’t. The problem is that when I edit a page and try to click the insert media button a url appears at the bottom left of the page as if it’s working on it, but nothing productive happens. So I can’t do images.

Site is beemanplay.com. I resorted to html to put in images, but it’s really a work-around. I deactivated the plugins, but didn’t help. I changed to the default theme, same thing.

The sticky post at the top of this forum says to reload many files, but I’m afraid to do that, fearing that I’ll lose whatever I’ve done to the site so far.

I’ve tried this with IE8, Chrome, Firefox–same thing.
