    I have a website with WP 3.5.1, WP-United 0.9.2.4 and phpbb3.

    I have a problem with wp-admin login.

If phpbb3 forum is deactivated and WordPress Blog is deactivated, admin users can login in the forum and in the admin panel.
If phpbb3 forum is activated and WordPress Blog is activated, any users can login in the forum and in the admin panel.

If phpbb3 forum is deactivated and WordPress Blog is activated, admin users can login in the forum and in the admin panel,

But, editor users can’t access in admin panel with http://www.mysite.fr/wp-admin.php
Consequently, they can’t add a post or a page
I don’t test with others levels users but I think that there are the same problem.

I try to delete cache and cookies in Chrome but I don’t login in Admin Panel with a username that isn’t a admin user.

However, I would like a non-admin user can add a post even if the forum is deactivated.

If anyone can help me, please !

PS : Sorry for my English.

    Hi,

    Sorry for the slow response.

Your English is fine… but I’m not understand about the activated / deactivated part. Why would you have one part of the site deactivated and the other activated? If you mean phpBB is disabled, then WP-United won’t work… but I guess you mean something else, as it doesn’t make any sense to disable one half of your site….

Please could you explain what you mean by “activated” and “deactivated”?

No problem for your “delay”, you have answered speed.

My problem is : when phpbb3 forum is deactivated and WordPress blog works normaly (not maintenance mode for example), only admin users can login in WordPress /wp-login but not others users.

I deactivate phpbb3 forum part sometimes to install mod, to update mod like Wp-United, to do backup or to modify template. It’s to avert users to have problem with register, login, post… for example.

The basic idea is to know IF normal users can login in my WordPress blog part and create post or page for example if phpbb3 forum is deactivated,
or IF I must activate phpbb3 if normal users want to access in admin panel and consequently deactivate Wp-United plugin to allow phpbb3 deactivation without disturb users to create post, pages…

I hope I have explained my problem properly.

    Hi,

Yes that is by design. If you have user integration switched on, the site is an integrated whole — you can’t bring one half of the site down.

User integration needs both databases to be up and running. Otherwise users would become out of sync.

Okay, so this is not problem but a result of the integration with WP-United.
Thank you for your answer and good luck for the future of WP-United, a great plugin.

    Sincerely,
