The theme is based off “Infimum“, which I heavily modified to look like the P2 theme. At the time I didn’t knew about the Sandbox theme and the P2 theme itself was hard to modify, so that’s that! 😉

On JEEK.ca I’m mostly blogging and sharing links I’ve found on the French and English part of the Web (we’re a French Canadian community, so we’re pretty much confortable with both languages).

For the last 3 months I’ve been working my as* off to release the version you’re seeing right now: JEEK.ca 2.5. I’ve coded several functionnalities, one of which uses a web service that creates a thumbnail out of a given website and (the function) dynamically uploads the external thumbnail in my upload folder after the post has been submitted for 30 minutes. Added an option in the profile page, extra links, and all that good stuff…

My next goal is to decrease the initial loading time. It isn’t that bad (depends on the server), but I’ll definitively be taking a look at WP SuperCache or at my index.php to see if I can make the loop more efficient.
