   Gray text on a gray background is always a bad idea. Unless your vision is perfect it will be impossible to read. The white ad blocks don't look like they belong with anything else on the page.

   What are some suggetions for a nice layout so people can read it? I liked this grey but I understand where your coming from.

   At my age (62) I find most people are better able to see dark test on light backgrounds - the opposite tends to blur. Also, the red? active link color is impossible for me to read clearly. A larger font size would also be good, unless the target of your site is a 20-something with perfect eyesight.

   how about this, dark grey background with white text. Also a little bit bigger text? Maybe this would work better
