   I'm thinking to develop newsletter plugin based on your plugin - You can see method here: How to Add a Newsletter Signup Box After Your Post in Genesis. What do you think is it a good idea?

   Sorry for the delay -- I don't think I got an e-mail notifying me of your response.

   I think the idea has merit. You can fork my plugin over at Github: https://github.com/kraftbj/Genesis-eNews-Extended

   Regarding Brian's original post and the limitation of using it in both places, you can get around that. Instead of pasting in his code as it is, add an extra class declaration to it (e.g. I think having the CSS like
   

   #newsletter .enews {
   fancy css here;
   }

   would work with his example and not disrupt the traditional widget usage.
