• Good plugin…
Plugin author: Can you make it available to users with Contributor status as well? This would allow admins to create a “revenue share” website for their multi-author blogs.

There are some plugins for this out there, but they suck because they only show an ad at the top and another ad at the bottom. However, im looking for a plugin where both admins and contributors can insert an ad in the middle (or wherever they want within a post).

For example: You could create a settings page for contributors where they can insert their ad code. Then their ads would show only on their articles so they can get their revenue.

If you make this available I would be extremely grateful. I’d gladly write a fantastic review on this and be happy to send you a small donation for your effort.

Unfortunately the new responsive code of AdSense is unsuitable for multi-author blog revenue: change the ca-pub id is insufficient: you have to customize even the “Data Ad Slot”

In short, it requires a great effort, but it is a requirement of the few people

    Thanks for your response.
Well, take a look at this plugin, for example:
    https://premium.wpmudev.org/project/ad-sharing/

This is currently installed on my website and it works beautifully. This is simply what it does:

    1. Contributor logs into his WP dashboard
    2. Contributor sees a settings page for the plugin
    3. Contributor pastes his ad code into two fields available (one field toward the top, and another field representing the bottom.)

As a result, their ads are seen on every article they publish under their names. One ad appears before the article, and the other ad appears after the article (one at the top, another at the bottom.)

Please note: They are NOT putting in their CA-ID. Instead, they are generating the actual ad code and pasting it in the plugin’s settings page.

Sadly, the plugin is missing a “middle field” (to make ads appear in the body of their articles.) So the way I see it, if it’s so easy to make a “top field” and a “bottom field”, then a “middle field” should be just as easy.

P.S. Perhaps this should be an entirely different project for you to work on (making a replica of the above plugin I linked, basically)….but making it better by offering the missing ‘middle field’.

I hope the above sounds inspiring 🙂
