nggallery/imagebrowser: how to go directly to full size images (5 posts)

    I'm using NextGen Gallery with the Imagebrowser option enabled. I'm using a gallery in a page (not a post). Currently I have a page of thumbnails, and clicking on one leads to the full size image. Then you can click to the next full size image, etc.

    I'd like to eliminate the thumbnails, so when the page is clicked on (from the menu), it goes right to the first full size image, without seeing the thumbnails. I saw the Gallery option to go to slideshow instead of thumbnails, but I don't want a slideshow--I want to navigate the full size images via Imagebrowser (clicking next goes to next image without any effects).

    If anyone could help I'd appreciate it.

    Hi jimtro, how did you linked the gallery thumbnails to the full size image on the ImageBrowse?

    In the plugins folder, nextgen-gallery folder:

    open view/imagebrowser.php and change this line:
    <div class="pic"><?php echo $image->href_link ?></div>

    to:
    <a>next_pid ?>" href="<?php echo $image->next_image_link ?>"><img alt="<?php echo $image->alttext?>" src = "<?php echo $image->imageURL ?>"/></a>

    [Please post code or markup snippets between backticks or use the code button. Some of your code has now been mangled by the forum's parser.]

    Sorry, that last post got mangled, try this:

    open view/imagebrowser.php and change this line:
    <div class="pic"><?php echo $image->href_link ?></div>

    to:
    <a class="ngg-browser-next" id="ngg-next-<?php echo $image->next_pid ?>" href="<?php echo $image->next_image_link ?>"><img alt="<?php echo $image->alttext?>" src = "<?php echo $image->imageURL ?>"/></a>
