[NGG Gallery] Copyright symbol render error (1 post)

Uploading an image results in © rendering as ©.

As a test I populated all of the editable EXIF and IPTC fields in lightroom with ©. I checked the image with EXIF viewer and the Coded Character Set is UTF8. MySQL DB is utf8_general_ci

The following fields render © properly:

    Meta Data:
    -Caption
    -Title
    XMP Data:
    -Title
    -Author
    -Caption

The rest render it as ©

    Meta Data:
    -Credit
    -Copyright Notice
    IPTC Data:
    -All fields
    EXIF Data:
    -Copyright Notice
    -Title

declaring 'dc:rights' => 'copyright', in meta.php fixes Copyright Notice under Meta Data, but not under EXIF Data.

Investigating the DB entry for an image yields the following

s:6:"credit";s:4:"©"; What I take from this is that © is being parsed as a 2 byte hex, hence string having a value of 4.
