When this plugin is active, the index links at the bottom of the home page (e.g. mysite.com/page/2) just send the user back to the home page instead of going to the next page. Deactivating the plugin resolves the issue.
We just noticed this so I think it may be related to the latest release (1.1.8) but don't know for sure.

I just ran across the exact same issue and diagnosis. I am using Canvas theme from Woothemes.

We're also using Canvas, their 'magazine layout'. That can't be merely coincidence.
I just opened a ticket with them

I was in touch with WooThemes already today. They threw the ball back to Facebook since it is their plugin that is causing the problem ...

I am unable to reproduce in Twenty Twelve (the WordPress 3.5 default theme). WooThemes uses its own pagination: woo_pagination().

I contacted WooThemes for more information.

    Niall -

Thanks for the quick response. I have contacted Woo Themes as well and asked them to work with you to resolve this issue ASAP.

    Thanks -

    Jackie

I'm having the same issue, and I'm also using Canvas. I believe, ultimately, that it's up to the plugin developer.

Pagination broken here too, Canvas Theme, WP 3.5 and latest FB plugin update. The pagination buttons are visible, but the page refreshes right back to the first page.

    Jeremy & phemmert,

Have you also contacted WooThemes support? If not, please do!

We have the new version of Canvas (5.1) and the new version of the Facebook plugin (1.1.10) and the issue remains

Any update? Still broken here, and plugin is deactivated until resolved. Woo Themes is pointing back to the dev.

I don't really get why Woo Themes is pointing back to plugin dev - the only people reporting problems are people running Canvas theme,

    Hi All,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

We have since released an update to the WooFramework (the engine that powers all WooThemes themes) to address issues with and further optimise woo_pagination().

Please be sure to upgrade to the latest version of the WooFramework and please advise if the issue persists after upgrading. :)

    Thanks and regards,
    Matty.

    Matty,

I am running version 5.5.3 of the framework, which is being reported as the latest version - but the problem still exists!

FWIW - I am running latest version of FB plugin 1.1.11

Same here. Everything is up to date but the issue still persists.

    Hi All,

My testing environment is as follows:

    WordPress 3.5
    Canvas V5.1.2
    WooFramework V5.5.3
    Facebook Plugin V1.1.11

I can confirm that, when using the default WordPress homepage setting ("Your Latest Posts"), the pagination works correctly, with or without the Facebook plugin active.

When setting the homepage to the "Magazine" page template in Canvas, for example, the issue presents itself.

Is this the case for you as well, Jeremy and Jackie?

    Regards,
    Matty.

Yes - I have Magazine template as homepage.

My Canvas was recently upgraded to version 5.1.0 - Never received any notification or indication (even now) that there is a later version.

    No problem, Matty.
Other than the fact that I've been waiting 5 weeks for a fix. At least you guys have stopped trying to blame the FB plugin ... :-)

    Hi Jackie,

My sincerest apologies for the inconvenience caused here.

Now that the environment has been isolated, we can determine the cause and rectify accordingly. :)

    Thanks and regards,
    Matty.

    Matty -

It has been several weeks since you isolated the problem. Are we any closer to a fix yet?

    Hi Jackie,

I've just rounded up final testing of this code snippet, which will be included in Canvas V5.1.4, to be deployed Tuesday 12th February in the afternoon, UTC time.

If you'd like to integrate the snippet directly into your "functions.php" file in the interim, the code is as follows: https://gist.github.com/a5e2da828b2e6694bd53

    Matty,

Great - thanks for the update. I'll check it out.

I would like to point out one thing out to you, though, regarding your comment:

"For future queries of this nature, please note that our WooThemes Support Desk is the best channel with which to communicate with our WooThemes support team. :)"

That is in fact where I started this process 2 months ago. However, the WooThemes support team tried to blame the problem on the FB plugin, and said they couldn't help me, but that I should try posting over here.

    Take Care,

    Jackie
