In fact, by deleting translation files to french, the plugin works fine in English.

Effectivement, c’est bien les fichiers de traduction qui pausent problème.
Astuce de dépannage pour pouvoir continuer à utiliser le plugin, connectez-vous en ftp a votre hébergeur et supprimez les fichiers “nggallery-fr_FR.po” et “nggallery-fr_FR.mo” du dossier :
/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/i18n/lang
Le plugin se retrouvera en anglais mais parfaitement fonctionnel.
En attendant le correctif en Français,

Hi, i have exactly the same issue. After adding images to galleries, it’s now impossible to include them in articles, as after clicking the “green button”, its impossible to select which gallery i wanna display, no more than chosing which images i wanna exclude. Could you help me ? thanks in advance

This bug of the French version will be fixed in the new version of Nextgen, in automatic update ?

I have also the bug with french language, plus an other bug the shortcode
[singlepic id=1065 w= h= float=center] display already the same image, independently of the id number !
I deleted the two french file and the menu reappear but the singlepic short code give already the same picture.
@mariogroleau – You should start a new topic for this as it is a different issue … as it is, check your default sort order under Gallery > Other Options > Image Options. If it is Descending change it to Ascending.
If this does not help, please start a new topic.

The setting was already to Ascending, I switched it to Descending and after returned to Ascenting. The problem concening singlepic display disapeared.

I did this new update of plugin Nextgen, the French menus work.
