  • I also had this problem so deleted the plugin and then reinstalled it. That resolved the problem. This new version only seems to work with the most up to date WordPress release 3.6 but still seems to have bugs.

    thank you adrian33000!
but didn’t it delete all your galleries and pictures when deleting plugin?

@att2013: If you delete/uninstall from the dashboard, yes, it will delete your galleries.

As an alternative, you can just refresh / re-upload the 2.0.7 files to the wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery folder on your site. But given what you’ve set about restoring and rolling back, it’s not clear to me this will work.

    Can you try:

*Going to Settings > Permalinks, and if you have default selected, try something else.

*If you have any plugins installed that directly affect permalinks, can you try deactivating those as well?

*If that doesn’t work and you are willing to do so, try momentarily deactivating all other plugins, test, and then reactivate. If it works then, we’ll know it’s a conflict. If not, it’s something else.

If you try all that and are still having the issue, you can submit a bug report with login credentials and we’ll take a look and troubleshoot. Link to this thread and say Erick asked for credentials:

I have just experienced this problem. I upgraded to WP3.6 and updated several plugins. All was well until I upgraded from NextGEN Gallery 1.9.13 to 2.0.7. The upgrade completed OK, but when I clicked the ‘Return to Plugins page’ link I got a blank screen. I could not get into the site at all – I got a blank page each time.

I solved the problem by using Filezilla to delete the nextgen-gallery folder from the web server, upload 1.9.13 again (which I had on another site), and re-activate the plugin. Everything worked fine again.

I did this twice, so there is definitely a problem with 2.0.7. I use a variant of the Misty Look theme, via the ‘child theme’ arrangements.

    Thanks Erick for your answer!
I tried everything you mentioned but nothing worked.
    – Now contacting bug-report.

    @anthony Butler
Thank you for that advice, but to me this isn’t a real solution if one has to keep on using a really old version of the plugin to work…

rolled back to 1.9.13 using filezilla
    working fine

Did the same now and am glad it is working!
Although it would be great if Photocrati will be able to fix it with the new version.
