   I upgraded one of my sites to WP 2.8 today via the admin area, and my picture gallery stopped working. Pictures were disappearing. No luck uploading new ones. The theme and gallery plug (YAPB) no longer worked. I couldn't post to the blog. It was a mess.

   So I looked for another plugin and theme. I am using the slidingdoors theme. I get this message when I attempt to load the Nextgen plugin in the admin console.

   Incompatible archive PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

   Can anyone tell me what that means and if there's a workaround, inlcuding trying another theme. Although, I really liked the 1st one and the one I have now.

   Hi,

   It is a bug in the wordpress 2.8. To fix it upgrade your wordpress to the latest version [2.8.2].

   That's what I had done. I upgraded via the admin interface.

   WP wouldn't load the plug-in from my desktop, but I was able to get it through the plug-in panel and it loaded.
