NextGEN Gallery - Uploading Pictures (1 post)

    Hello,

    I have shortly installed NextGEN Gallery in WordPress 2.7.1. It's a great tool and I enjoy it a lot. There is only one thing, I still cannot manage: Uploading pictures with the integrated uploader doesn't work the way I'd like to. Though I veryfied via FTP the write permission of the main gallery folder and its subfolders, uploading is not possible. I get: "HTTP-error ...406" and that there are no pictures in the folder.

    I managed it with uploading all my pictures via FTP - an easy way - but on the other side there is such a sympathetic feature in your plugins backend that I'd like to understand and to manage ... :)

    I tried to get help on http://dpotter.net/Technical/2008/03/nextgen-gallery-review-image-management/ - an excellent site! - but I still could not solve the problem.

    Excuse me, but I'm quite a newbee in such things. Thank you for your help
