Nextgen Gallery thumbnail, Cannot change aspect of container (3 posts)

Using WP 3.2.1, with Nextgen Gallery 1.8.4 also Highslide For WordPress Reloaded V1.24 plugins installed and activated.

I have installed 24 very small galleries of small pics of around 30kb each. All the galleries are lumped into one album.

The gallery thumbnails are supposed to be pics of doors within the thumbnail container so you can appreciate why I'd like a portrait aspect to the thumbs. I can change the aspect of the thumbnail pic in Nextgen css stylesheet ok but my problem is the container that holds the thumbnail pic for each gallery. I cannot change the container into a portrait shape for example Width 68px x Height 91px. I've looked through the options, and spent all night sifting the CSS for a answer, trawled the net and you guys are my last hope.
I dareseay it is probably something quite obvious nd staring me in the face but I seem to be having a very senior moment :-) Can anyone help please.

I have tried changing the thumbnail sizes in Nextgens Options/thumbnail settings, I have also tried checking and unchecking the "Ignore the Aspect ratio checkbox which makes no difference. Site page here if you care to have a look

Has anyone come across a similar problem and solved it.? I'd appreciate any advice
