   How do you go about changing the author for a gallery?

   I am asking as I am hoping this will allow specific users to manage their own galleries. Yes?

   Go to a Gallery and look for the gallery settings, normally you can select / change here the author

   Thanks Alex,

   Unfortunately, it show the author name but I am unable to change it. There is no drop down menu just the author name.

   And you a the 'administrator' ? (See under roles] you need to assign the correct capabilities for admins/author etc

   ive set

   Add gallery / Upload images:
   Manage gallery

   to subscriber, but still no effect. do I have to change them all?

   Look for Roles -> "Manage others gallery:" normally you must be the admin to control all of them

   i manage to set the roles so that other authors cannot tamper other galleries. the problem now is when i tried to add an image to other gallery it showa a message "# You do not have the correct permission" but also shows "1 Image(s) successfully added"

   when i checked, the image was not added but there is an entry in the gallery that shows the name of the image uploaded and when
