• Hi,

Since updating wordpress to 4.0 and updating NextGEN Gallery to 2.0.66.27 i am having issues with my theme.

The issue is that my theme scripts are no longer being loaded on the homepage, in particular my menu drop downs and the flexslider images.

I contacted my theme developer and he said that it seems as though the wp_footer() function is being messed up.

I disabled all plugins and the theme worked perfectly, i then enabled only the NextGEN Gallery plugin and my homepage broke as previously stated.

Can you provide some assistance to resolve the conflict?

    my website is http://www.kbphotography.com.au

    thanks,

    Ben.

@streamed_au – Are you using the current versions of WordPress and NextGEN Gallery?

Hi Yes both the newest versions.

It seems to mess up the scripts being run on the homepage and kills the flexslider scripts and my drop down menu.

Yesterday i had to downgrade NextGen to V1.9.13 and now everything is working again.

@streamed_au – You may need to wait until we release version 2.0.68+ before trying to update again … it may sort out these issues at that time.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.
