   NextGen Gallery 0.98
   NextGen Gallery Widget 1.22
   Wordpress 2.6

   I have disabled all plugins and tried other themes, I'm not too sure when it started to go wrong as it did work perfectly, I think maybe it went wrong when my shared server was upgraded from PHP4 to PHP5? But mot 100% sure.
   I have upgraded to latest version of NextGen and have changed the folder from nextgen-gallery to nggallery as discussed in other threads.

   I have a few problems with NextGen Gallery:

   (1) When I write a new post and try to add a new image via the Icon (Add NextGen Gallery). The popup window loads but shows my home page http://www.cornish.co.uk instead of loading up a list of images. My blog is located here http://cornish.co.uk/blog in subdirectory. Maybe something to do with the Javascript???

   The only way I can get images to show is in Gallery admin Options, Images, is place a (tick) next to "Creates a file for each singlepic settings. Reduce the CPU load"

   If I don't have the singlepic setting ticked all images on my blog just show a box with image text inside.

   (2) Slideshow doesn't load at all. it displays the charging effect endlessy. (I have removed for now and replaced with NextGen Gallery 1 (random image)).

   Ok seems I didn't explain myself very well

   when I write a new post in wordpress admin /wp-admin/post-new.php there is an icon called "Add NextGen Gallery" does any body know the icon I mean?
   When I click that icon instead of gallery images appearing it just loads up my home page in the new popup window that appears? (is that a better explanation - sorry if not)

   Well I seem to have sorted out the slideshow images not showing sort of.

   In the WIDGET section I clicked "Edit" NextGen Slideshow, under "select Gallery" I changed from "All images" to my latest gallery "bali" and now the images are showing up OK.

   I still have problems with the adding images from posts as descibed before so please help out with that...thanks
