NextGen-Gallery ImageBrowser Plugin Doesn't Resize Portraits (5 posts)

I'm using the NextGen Gallery plugin (awesome plugin, by the way). But there's a bug with the imagebrowser function. Some of my photos in the imagebrowser function are portraits. When the imagebrowser tries to display a portrait format (rather than a landscape), it doesn't resize the photo properly. In fact, it seems to elongate it a bit. Is there a workaround for this?

I was really hoping the author would respond to this one.

I also have the same problem. All my photos are portraits. I got them all stretched to 506px width

Can anyone suggest an alternative gallery that does something similar to the NextGen's Gallery's imagebrowser format?
