    Hi,
    I’m trying to display a slideshow in my homepage.
    I created a gallery in the nextgen plugin that has ID 9.
    Than I looked for the parameters in the documentation and I created this shortcode.
    <?php echo do_shortcode('[ngg_images gallery_id="9" display_type="photocrati-nextgen_basic_slideshow" gallery_width="100%" gallery_height="auto" cycle_interval="5"]'); ?>
    I included only those parameters because I let the ones set in the dashboard handle the rest.

    I placed the shortcode outside the loop in a div on top of my index page, but all I get is the message ” Gallery not found. Please check your settings.”
    how come?

    is it because in the plugin’s gallery option I set to show the galleries as thumbnails lists? does that creates a conflict?
    Is it possible to show a gallery as a slideshow in a page and other galleries as thumnails in other post/pages?

    thanks for the help
