Hi Gang,
I have the latest version of NGG and have questions on configuration. I would like to have galleries setup on a page represented by a thumbnail image, then when you click on the thumb, the larger version opens in a lightbox style 'window' with the option to scroll through all the images in that gallery. Currently, each gallery on the page shows a large image.
This is what I've got setup now. I'm inserting galleries with the imagebrowser code, under gallery options, I've selected show thumbs, and have chosen to show all images in the modal window. Under the Effects tab, I've selected Shutter for the js thumbnail effect. Looking at some description on that tab, I think what I may be looking for is there, but it's not clear to me.
Here you can select the thumbnail effect, NextGEN Gallery will integrate the required HTML code in the images. Please note that only the Shutter and Thickbox effect will automatic added to your theme. With the placeholder %GALLERY_NAME% you can activate a navigation through the images (depend on the effect). Change the code line only , when you use a different thumbnail effect or you know what you do.
Thanks for any thoughts.
Chris
