   when inputting text in the title, alt text or description of a gallery image the single quote (apostrophy) character is rendered incorrectly unless input as ' however the bug-a-boo is that once changes are saved , if one needs to do additional edits to ANY of the gallery images ALL single quotes need to be re-input as '

   any ideas how to rectify this problem?

   ah ... to clarify (as the single quote html was rendered correctly) ... it is necessary to input the single quote as html [&-#-3-9-;]
