I recently installed the plugin and I've been trying to configurate the options, anyway I've totally failed, I read everything I found, anyway there are many things I don't get...

as you can see in the link this would be my first ALBUM page, I wrote "[album=1,extend]" as I saw here (http://nextgen.boelinger.com/album/) but there isn't any thumbnail... so I am a bit confused as I looked everywhere in the configuration and can't find any option about it... and I want my page to look like that...
SECOND I'd like that the images displayed inside the gallery link to the "image's PAGE" instead of popping up with an effect, that's because I want ppl to comment on them. Any help? I couldn't find any option...
and the new confusing wordpress 2.5 won't help very much...
And the THIRD & last, the effect just won't load, I found this tag in the EFFECTS section (class="thickbox" rel="%GALLERY_NAME%) where I am supposed to paste it?... 'cause I haven't pasted it anywhere so maybe that's the problem... ='(
