NextGen Custom Fields Style in the Admin section (2 posts)

Hi, I am using the 3rd party plugin "NextGen Custom Feilds" to add additional information to each image. I have 18 additional fields, which when returned to the admin section (manage-images.php) makes the table row really, well, non-functional.

I need a way to split out the two sections into two table rows - the original fields provided by next gen, and then another row with the 18 columns of my custom fields.

I can't figure out how to split it apart. Nextgen has a "print_column_header" section (manage-images.php/line 375) that must be where I need to take out my custom fields, but I'm unfamiliar with the parameters of this command, and I can't figure it out.

    Any ideas?

    Hi indiacharleston

What you are experiencing is definitely a problem for people with lots of columns. But I'm not sure there's anything that can be done about it at the moment.
NGG provides a hook for custom columns to be added to each image row in the backend, and that's just the way it is.
I'm not sure there could even be a hack way of breaking down into the next column, let alone a stable and clean solution.

I will add it to the list of this to investigate, and if I come up with something, I will push out a new version with the changes.
