nextgen and qtranslate

    hi there,
    these plugins doesn’t work together.
    when I disable qtranslate I can add image/gallery
    but it is still no update photo page (shortcodes)
    installed theme is xebax
    actually I think shortcode update process is not a big problem,can be done manually.The other problem is a major issue.

    note: when qtranslate enabled I try add new gallery but image cannot be upload and it produces some error log below

    I almost forgot about writing versions

    nextgen is 2.0.57.1
    qtranslate 2.5.39 (development version is tested too)

    Propably the problem is with the version 2.5.39 of qtranslate.
    Make a try to downgrade.

    thanks for reply.it seems to downgrade solved your problem.

    I tried every version to 2.5.25.Also tried nextgen to 2.40
    but it did not work

    @olriss – We are still experiencing issues with qTranslate but what you are describing may be something new.

    Would you be able to submit a Bug Report (http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/ … please reference this topic) so we can have a closer look at this particular issue.

    We will need log in and FTP credentials for your WordPress installation as well, please include those with the Bug Report.

    I am experiencing the same issue. Nextgen works fine with qTranslate disabled but cannot upload photos or view galleries when enabled.

    On attempting to upload the error log shows: Fatal error: Call to a member function get_entity() on a non-object.

    Has this bug been filed or should I also file it?

    @jhob – We are aware of this issue … and you should also always start your own topic for an issue on your site.

    Also, we are working on possible solutions to the qTranslate issues but as it is, the basic concern of not being able to upload can use the work-around of deactivating qTranslate to upload image then re-activating it afterward.

    We hope to have this sorted out in a near future release.

    Hi folks,

    I had the same problem with uploading new photos while qTranslate is active.
    Question – do you have the qTranslate-option “Hide non translated pages” activated? I initialy had this option set on my page and got the same problem. After removing this flag, the upload function works fine. Since all of my pages are avaiable in both languages, I’m fine with this solution.
