NextGen – add captions under pop image not thumb

    I’ve searched for the answer to this but can’t find it. I’ve found the answer for how to add a caption under the thumb but I don’t want any text under the thumbs. Just the pop ups. Can this be done?

    Also, how can I determine how many columns and rows per page?

    Just add a “description” next to image in gallery. It wasn’t working but now it is. Caption displays upon image pop up.

    Columns and number of images is set in Options > Gallery.
