Next Gen Version 2.0.66 not uploading sucessfully, cannot insert into page

    Hello There,

    Recently when I tried to upload some images to my site. I get the error ‘Http Error’ But when I check managed gallery the images are there. it says no images loaded but it is there. There is no permission issues on the back-end folders (644). I then when ahead and deactivate and after that reset to all default, still no luck. I like this plugin and it is the best I have used. Could this be because I use any other plugins? Please could you advice as this is very urgent I cannot insert anymore gallery on a page of our site.

    @johnja1 – There could be a plugin conflict, have you already checked if this was the case? … and just for clarification, folders should have permissions of 0755 or greater and files should have permissions of 0644 or greater, just in case it was not a typo in your OP.

    Hey Cais,

    Thanks for the quick reply. Permission is correct since I have loaded 2 sets of images previously. How do I know if this is a plugin conflict error? any quick way to check this ? please advice sorry to bother you on 4th of July !!. I had install the Smart Slider 2 could this be a problem?.

    Hi Cais,

    Sorry to say codex site is not very useful. You are the plugin author and you should be able to advice us where the actual problem is? I don’t understand why are you re-directing me to some other web site. We need to know what is bug is ? teh codex article doem not help much. Please advice,

    To phrase things as simply as possible…

    Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Fourteen theme with all other plugins deactivated?

    @johnja1 – Does following those instructions help sort out if this is an issue with another plugin, or your current theme?

    Also to note, the WordPress codex (“some other web site”) should almost always be one of your first “go-to” web sites for help with WordPress related issues in general. There is a great deal of very useful information to be found. I use it myself … almost everyday.
