Hi.

The site I am working on needs to open up with the next event, ie. having the next event showing directly in the front page.

How can I achieve that?

Even better/harder, I would also like to be able to keep the two latest events in the same page, after the next upcomming event.

Which would make on the front page:
1. Next event
2. Previous event
3. Previous event

Hi,

you can try to use events widget or shortcode [events_list scope=”past”] or [events_list scope=”futute”] to do this.

Problem is that it shows a list, and I want to show the full event page directly on frontpage. Is there any way to achieve this?

you can override formats using shortcode [events_list]

e.g.
```
[events_list scope="future" limit=1 format_header="<div>" format_footer="</div>"]
<h3>#_EVENTNAME</p>
<p>
#_EVENTNOTES
</p>
[/events_list]
```

I totally missed that powerful feature ! It’s very impressive, thank you very much for that.

I have some tweaking to do for the rest of the page, but that’s just awesome.
