newsletter to members from memberarea

Hello,
I have a small Memberarea on my Wordpres Site. I want to send them a message, therefore I installed the “Email users” plgin, but i’m experiencing problems with it. it seems not realy to support html mails.

How can I do that?

there is a small introduction and than there is a little bullet list with all the topics in that email. These Bullet list shall be clickable to link to the regarding article in the mail.

How can I do that, what is the best plugin to do that? without them signing up.
