   Hi

   Wondering if any one can recommend a registration type plugin.
   Basically I need something which records users details:
   - First name
   - Last name
   - Email address
   etc
   And rather than sending it via email to a nominated email address, saves it to a database that's easily downloadable in CSV format or excel or similar.

   Hey.

   We're (http://www.senzala.si) using Newsletter plugin for WP. And it's been pretty good to us. Name (first and last), email, export/import (CSV), you can compose newsletters and send them out using this plugin, etc.

   Yep, the newsletter plugin works nicely. It should handle what you're trying to do.
