I installed MEE News newsletter plugin into wordpress but it has problems. trying to solve it

but programmers say even if i fix the issue i shouldn't send out newsletters from my server because some complainer might blacklist the host or me. I don't know what that means. What does that mean?

whatever newsletter plugin i use for my wordpress blog, what difference does it make if i send newsletters out from my server or use a 3rd party email marketing service, except one costs money and the other does not.

if it's so bad why are there so many newsletter plugins?

someone help me out here. what's the truth? and why is it so hard to get help from MEE NEWS newsletter people to fix problems in their plugin?

what is the best route? what is the best Newsletter Plugin?

Having actually managed to get my blog up and running within my site (apart from some minor problems, such as the appearance order of comments - they come in newest first, which is pretty daft for the average blog), I have now turned to issues of how I improve my offering.

One of these improvements, and very important in order to maintain site stickiness and loyalty, is the subscribe/newsletter facilty. At the moment, I handle all this manually, OK in the begining, but now as the community site I edit () for my adopted town in France gathers momentum and page hits, I seriously need a good automated subscribe/unsubscribe feature.

Hard to believe that WordPress cannot do this. Anybody got any ideas?

The blacklist thing is just bullsh*t as long as your emaillist is using double opt-in.
