• I have sent several emails to myself in order to test their appearance. They have looked ok.

Yesterday, I decided to schedule a broadcast for today at 3.00pm GMT. My blog is located on the server in Texas. I live in Dublin in GMT, so there is 5 hours time difference. Despite of this I got the email at 10.00am GMT today. SendPress recognizes where I live, doesn’t it?

In addition, newsletter lost its formatting i.e. linking and spacing after sending. Please find a copy of the beginning of this email below:

    Hi petrre,

SendPress should be using whatever timezone your WordPress site is set to not server time. Let me know if that is not the case.

If you could send a few emails to josh@sendpress.com and tester@sendpress.com i will take a look at the format and see if we can figure out what the issue is.

    Best,
    Josh

    Hey Josh,

    Ok, will do so.

I have now sent test emails to josh@sendpress.com and tester@sendpress.com. How do they look?

    Hi petrre,

They look good to me in gmail. I did notice that it using the fall back sending method. I would recommend going to settings > sending account and selecting your website and saving the page again.

I see X-SP-METHOD: old in the email headers. It should say website if it is using the new sending code. This may help with your issues.

Do you know it it was a specific email client that was having the issue?

    Best,

    Hey Josh,

It’s already selected – Send Emails via Your Website. Saved it once again.

At least the one I received into my Yahoo mailbox lost its formatting. This email client I added for my list, so that I could see, if it’s ok. I have no idea, how the other recipients have received the email.

I like to inform that added line break in text mode. Sent a test email to my Yahoo inbox. The email looks fine now. So this issue has been resolved. Will test this scheduling too.

Tested scheduling and it seems to work. Got email 11 mins late, but it does not matter at all. The most important thing is that it really works by using local time here. Quite amazing, because I have an autoresponder with GVO in Texas and they have said that you can’t change the server time.
