    I am having a problem with images on my blog (blog.lovely-elle.com). My banner image is no longer visible, and the new image I just uploaded aren't visible either.I also can't view the thumbnails in the library. The only time the images are visible is when I am in full edit mode through the media library. I tried checking the upload destination in media then settings, but I only saw options to change the dimensions of the image thumbnail and a box to organize the files by year/month. I saw nothing that would allow me to change anything else. I am a true amateur and have no idea what all the rewriting codes and redirecting is all about. The only thing I did different was install Private Blog and activate it a few weeks ago, but this issue just started today. I deactivated and deleted that plugin and nothing has changed. Please help fast! Thanks in advance.

    Do you use a caching plugin? If so, empty the cache. Seems like your image is still handled by password-protect-wordpress plugin.
    Try deactivating all your plugins.

    What caching plugin are you using?

    To my knowledge, the only caching plugin I had was Password protect, and I have deactivated all plugins.

    Deactivate the password-protect-wordpress plugin.

    I deactivated and uninstalled it as well. But, it seems that my images still have the password protect code on them. I do not know how to change that. The plugin is a caching plugin as well, and I do not know how to stop the caching or clear the cache.

    Try resetting the plugins folder by phpMyAdmin.

    I just reset my plugins folder through phpMyAdmin, and the option value field is already set at a:0:{}. There is a mailserver_pass that has an option_value it says password, and under autoload it says yes. Should I delete that?

    I am still seeing evidence of the password protect plugin on your site.

    Fatal error: Class 'lava' not found in /home3/elle/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/password-protect-wordpress/media.php on line 24

    I have removed the plugin again. It is not showing up on my wp dashboard. Should I be looking elsewhere to delete it as well?

    [Moderator Note: No bumping, thank you.]

    No bumping to get support? Ok...

    Well, in phpMyAdmin under wp_optons, there is an line labeled privste_blog_settings. The option_value reads a:53:{s:7:"enabled";s:3:"on";s:17:"use_template_hook";s:3:"off";s:18:"multiple_passwords";s:2:"on";s:15:"password1_value";s:8:"password";s:14:"password1_name";s:1:"1";s:16:"password1_colour";s:7:"#26d2e1";s:15:"password2_value";s:0:"";s:14:"password2_name";s:1:"2";s:16:"password2_colour";s:7:"#e10808";s:15:"password3_value";s:0:"";s:14:"password3_name";s:1:"3";s:16:"password3_colour";s:7:"#e17812";s:15:"password4_value";s:0:"";s:14:"password4_name";s:1:"4";s:16:"password4_colour";s:7:"#a4e19c";s:15:"password5_value";s:0:"";s:14:"password5_name";s:1:"5";s:16:"password5_colour";s:7:"#FEDA71";s:15:"password6_value";s:0:"";s:14:"password6_name";s:1:"6";s:16:"password6_colour";s:7:"#f0518b";s:15:"password7_value";s:0:"";s:14:"password7_name";s:1:"7";s:16:"password7_colour";s:7:"#5d5042";s:15:"password8_value";s:0:"";s:14:"password8_name";s:1:"8";s:16:"password8_colour";s:7:"#ab6fd1";s:15:"password9_value";s:0:"";s:14:"password9_name";s:1:"9";s:16:"password9_colour";s:7:"#69aeb4";s:16:"password10_value";s:0:"";s:15:"password10_name";s:2:"10";s:17:"password10_colour";s:7:"#97dd10";s:14:"timeout_length";s:4:"3600";s:11:"logout_link";s:2:"on";s:16:"logout_link_menu";s:14:"blog-directory";s:16:"rss_feed_visible";s:3:"off";s:21:"protect_certain_pages";s:2:"on";s:16:"pages_to_protect";s:68:"Elle… Without a shell…";s:21:"categories_to_protect";s:68:"Elle… Without a shell…";s:15:"tags_to_protect";s:68:"Elle… Without a shell…";s:21:"post_types_to_protect";s:68:"Elle… Without a shell…";s:15:"urls_to_protect";s:0:"";s:23:"unprotect_certain_pages";s:3:"off";s:18:"pages_to_unprotect";s:0:"";s:23:"categories_to_unprotect";s:44:"example-category-slug, Example Category Name";s:17:"tags_to_unprotect";s:34:"example-tag-slug, Example Tag Name";s:23:"post_types_to_unprotect";s:44:"example-category-slug, Example Category Name";s:17:"urls_to_unprotect";s:0:"";s:11:"record_logs";s:2:"on";s:12:"secure_media";s:2:"off";s:21:"secure_media_patterns";s:0:"";s:13:"allow_updates";s:2:"on";}

    I can't tell because I'm not very code savy, but it appears that the plugin is reading as "enabled" and "on". Maybe this is why my pictures are still not showing up. But, I have completely deleted this plugin from my blog. Not just deactivated, it's deleted. Should I delete the private_blog_settings from my phpMyAdmin?

    My blog is located at blog.lovely-elle

    There are also wp_options for private_blog_tables, private_blog_legacy, and private_blog_vendor. There is also a wp_private_blog_access_logs table. Should I delete all/any of these things?
