   Hi,

   I'm working on a theme for my site - http://doodlebug.josephlavington.com/

   I was wondering whether it would be possible for the newest posts to have a stronger shade of a particular colour the newer they are in a sort of gradient look.

   So imagine...
   Newest Post - Full Yellow Background
   Next Newest Post - Half Yellow Background (imagine 50% opacity)
   Next Newest Post - Quarter Yellow Background (25% opacity)
   Next Post - White background

   I hope you get what I mean!
