   Need some place with lots of good reading for a newbie. I had been using iWeb, but it's so simple, my grandmother could use it.

   I am attempting to replace my current website
   http://www.BonBonChihuahuas.com

   with this one
   http://www.chihuhuahapuppiesakc.com

   Needs to be a static website, not a blog.

   My knowledge of html, sql, rss is to be able to list what I just did. So pretty much nothing. Mac is going to kill iWeb and I have been told that WordPress is the end all and be all of websites.

   SOOO...I need a good place to read, or youtube videos to watch.

   In my lifetime, I have come across what feels like a disproportionately large number of chihuahua web sites. What's with you folks? :)

   Once you've got the hang of things, have look at some caching plugins. That will speed up static sites (improve their seo ranking e.t.c).

   I guess that the dogs are so small, they fit on a computer screen easier than a Great Dane?!? :)

   I just loved website design & photoshop long before I started showing dogs!
