    Please be gentle, I am new to WordPress and have questions regarding configuration of WordPress as a website. I have been very happy with using WP with my personal family blog. But know I am contemplating on how I can integrate my website into WordPress.

    I know HTML but not really good with CSS. I am not a trained designer but I develop graphics and HTML websites I have a small business and I am interested n using WordPress as a CMS that can be easily updated by other employees.

    Are there plug-ins that will take off comments and dates?
    Is there a simple way to edit headers and colors?

    The questions you are asking relate to themes. It is the themes that control how your pages look. They also will control how your question must be answered in detail.

    The quick answer is that you would change the comment and date information in the “post meta” by editing the theme’s PHP files.

    You would change the header and color information by editing the CSS files for the theme.

    Both actions would be considered simple tasks by someone of moderat WP skill. However we can’t give you specific instructions until you decide the more major points of which theme you choose and if the theme has schemes (alternate versions created by applying a different css file to the same php structure) which scheme you will use in it.
