Hi, all! I am relatively new to the WordPress world. Which I LOVE by the way. It makes web design so much easier for a graphic designer, like me, with limited coding skills.

So, I have searched all over the forums and gained a ton of useful information, but I am still confused on one issue (well only one for now!)

I am using the program Artisteer to create my themes. I have a main theme that I want to use for most of my pages. However, I have another theme that I would like to use for certain pages such as the forum. The main theme has a black background. Then 2nd theme has a rounded white box to contain the "articles" or in this case, the forum.

    Screen Shot of Main Theme:

    Screen Shot of 2nd Theme:

I have decided from my research that I cannot pull the files from two different themes into the same blog. However, I don't know enough about the coding to understand how to just make my forum page look like the above screen shot.

I do already have a few templates set up for my home page, and inside pages without the sidebar... but can't figure out how to add the white (rounded, bordered) box to my forum.

Can someone please help me?? Thanks!

BTW, the site url is: http://ik-splis-it.com/

Thanks for the link to the article on child pages. I will have to dig into this deeper. For now, I ended up downloading the plug-in "HeadSpace2" which seems to do exactly what I was wanting very easily.

Except, now I am wondering how to go further with it and get rid of the sidebar on the forum page... which is pulling from a different theme through HeadSpace2.

    Any ideas on that?

    Thanks again!

Nevermind on the last question. I just ended up creating another theme without sidebars. HeadSpace2 is awesome... Wish I would have found it last night before I spent so much time trying to manually customize everything! ;-)

    Ok, I'm back... again.

I thought I had it figured out... but I am having a small problem with the forum.

My forum is a SimplePress forum. With the use of HeadSpace2 the main forum page is displayed the way I want it to, picking up the secondary theme. http://ik-splis-it.com/forum/

However, when I click on a post and go deeper inside the forum, it reverts back to the main theme style. http://ik-splis-it.com/forum/test-forum/

Any ideas or suggestions on how to get the entire forum to use the HeadSpace2 directed-theme? Thanks!
