   Hi,
   I am brand new to this whole blog thing. I just installed my first Blog last night and got the basics working, but i want to get some more themes added and plug-ins as well. Well here's where my problem lies, i keep reading how simple it is to add themes and plug-ins,....i do what they say, but they never show up in my admin of the blog to choose or use.
   Anyone that can help i would really really appreciate it. i have WP 1.5, i want Journalized sand to be my default but want others also for choices. Feel free to email me at sldmseen@comcast.net if you can help

   There's a tonne of threads on this site about people who are new and not sure how to install something. I certainly recommend you read though them before requesting private help, though I'm sure someone will be kind enough to do so.

   In any case try varitions of:

   how to install plugins
   plugins not working
   theme not working
   how to install themes
   themes not showing

   in the search engine.

   It appears as if i have figured it out,....my Host made an extra folder and that's what i was working out of. Not only did i have a "wordpress" folder, (which i didn't see from the beginning), they also made a new folder and called it "blogs". That's the one i was woking out of. I deleted it and moved the themes and plug-ins to the other folder and all works now. I appreciate the help.
