I’m putting up my first WordPress site using the RichWP theme, Superblogger. Everything was working fine at first, then at some point as I was trying out different widgets and themes, this funny blank bar appeared above the sidebar on my home page. It’s under the post that says “Public Hospitals”

    • It only appears with the Superblogger theme.
    • If I take all my widgets out of the sidebar, it’s still there.
    • Nothing I do seems to affect it.
    • I get coding concepts, but I’m pretty php useless. At this point, I’m at a total loss and it’s completely throwing off/uglifying my theme. I’m on the verge of just deinstalling WordPress and starting over.

      Help? Please?

Thanks in advance for any time anyone spends on this. I’m under deadline, working day and night to get this blog up.

PS When asked, the developer just tells me “not my template”.

The theme that I am working with has a “Suffusion Theme Options” link under Appearance that controls the number of sidebars and how widgets are shown. You may try looking around there.

Thanks for the thought, but there nothing like that. The homepage is set by the template and any changes are through an admin screen. I feel like one of my plug-ins or widgets inserted some code somewhere, then didn’t remove it when I did. But I don’t know enough to say for sure or know it if I saw it. Thanks anyway.

    Did you solve this problem?
