Newbie Needs Help – username not recognized

    I also used the link they included in their registration email, with that username and password, and it still said it was not valid.

    Using Phpmyadmin (or another MySQL management tool), navigate to your wp_users table and locate the user_login for the user 1

    What is “Phpmyadmin (or another MySQL management tool)”? When I used /wp-login.php it brings up the log in page. That login page says my user name is invalid. Remember, newbie in play.
