   Hello, I just downloaded wordpress and have a few questions. I tried searching this forum but didn't find any answers. My first question is how do you upload images to your blog?... I click on the 'choose file' button, and press 'upload' but nothing happens... I get the message "The uploaded file could not be moved to ."

   Second I want to add my Google Adsense code to the blog but I'm not sure how to do this... I'd like to position a skyscraper ad (120 x 600) in the right column. What file do I need to edit and what line of code do I insert the Adsense java. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

   the very best help that one can give you is to aquaint you with how to search. Most of your questions are going to be ones that have already been asked and answered here. Your 2 above are.

   Searching for something, and searching correctly saves you time in waiting for an answer, and saves this forum and any that might help you from regurgitating the same old answers.

   So #1:

   That message and the explanation is covered EXTENSIVELY on these forums.

   #2. edit sidebar.php (your sidebar is usually the output of what is inside your theme's sidebar.php. Your footer is usually the output of whats inside your theme's footer.php.)

   See how that works?

   "what line of code do I insert the Adsense java."

   that doesnt make any sense.
