   The current tutorial on the site here is outdated, and isnt helping. I want to import my posts which i have saved in a .txt file that i exported from typepad, now I just need to figure out how to import them into the wordpress page I have created, please help!

   Follow this link for atutorial that I found works for 2.7, and resolves the issue very smoothly with little effort on your part!
