Newbie Help – Entries not showing

    Forgive me, I’m totally green when it comes to blogs, templates, etc.

    I set up a basic blog account for a friend to use and suddenly all entries are gone and the page has reverted to its original state from May ’08.

    On the POSTS tab, I can see her entries. On the PAGES tab, nothing, just the original from May…

    How did this happen, but more importantly, how do I fix or restore it?

    Are you talking a .COM blog or a self-hosted .ORG installation? In the first case, you’re on the wrong forum. In the second case, I hope you made backups and/or exports frequently…

    I have no backups, didn’t know about exports. The blog was self-installed directly to the server files.

    I have no idea what went wrong, but if you don’t have backups, you’re out of luck…
    The entries are not in the WP admin manage screen or in the database and for some reason not on the site?
