newbie getting started…

Hi there,

Please point me in the right direction if this is elsewhere, I need help.

I just opened a new hosting account for a domain that is hosted at another provider. I want to use WordPress for my new site, but have no idea where to begin – I did download WordPress to my new hosting account. I want to create my blog (design it, put in content, etc. before changing hosting companies. What do I need to do???

Please forgive the general/naive subject matter, but I would love someone to help me out.
