OK, newbie here making an incredible mistake. I was working on a blog for a friend and didn't keep all of my login info. So, I requested a new password using what I think is my login id - it wouldn't accept any of my email addresses - and it nicely said to look for a link in my email. That was a couple of hours ago and nothing has appeared anywhere.
Is there anything I can do to rectify this and get back into the admin panel again?
I'm in a panic and hope there's an easy way to fix.

I'm still confused...
Your first link assumes that I can get into the admin panel, which is the problem to begin with since I can't seem to find the password or get it sent to my email.
not sure where I would find phpmyadmin.... is that something that would be on my godaddy account?

Yes, phpMyAdmin is avail in your Godaddy account. This from Godaddy's help
# Log in to your Account Manager.
# Under the My Products section, select Hosting.
# Click Manage Account.
# Under the Databases heading, click MySQL.
# Click the Open Manager button.
# Enter your user name and password for your database.

Sorry about that, shand. I didn't mean to confuse the issue. I think I may have phrased that poorly.
"assuming you have full access to the site"
I should have said, "assuming you have access to the account management features provided by the hosting service." Meaning access to the control panel or file manager. My bad.
A few hours of frustration and some help from godaddy my solution was to uninstall and re-install and start all over. More problems than I thought. The only good thing was that I had not started adding content.
I just wanted to follow up and say thank you for your help. At least it pointed me in the right direction.
Thanks
