hi all.
Apologies if this is too easy... i did look in the codex, but didnt find anything straight forward.
I would like comments auto-authorized - but i do want to make folks enter name + email. at the moment - the name and email are required, but it seems to leave the comments pending.

Under Options -> Discussions, the first set of check boxes (Usual settings for an article}, the 3rd (last) item,check Allow people to post comments on the article.
Below that, the 3 set of boxes (Before a comment appears) make sure that only Comment author must fill out name and e-mail is checked.
That should do it.

Great, thank you -turned out that i hade the next option checked too - that users who have been approved before can ppear...
