newbie asks: new plugins don’t show up

    I’m trying to install new plugins to my WordPress. They don’t show up in the administration panel (on Plugins). There are only the old ones which already work o.k. Seems there are 7 plugins, after which the new ones stopped being shown. Is this a bug or something else?

    Other than that, I’m really getting my daily fix of WP and looking into what’s under the hood. Little by little; at first the PHP looks pretty complicated, and it’s been years since I touched code. 🙂

    Thanks, excellent link. You’re very right with the part that it’s often overlooked aspect. Even though I have worked with dirs and folders since MS-DOS times, I didn’t suspect them.. 🙂 You made the life of one site admin easier.
