   Anyone else having problems installing the New Yorker 2 theme: http://demo.stylewp.com/

   I purchased it, uploaded it to my server but I get error reports.

   Help! Can anyone assist me? Does anyone else use this theme?

   I installed it with no problems for a client a couple of weeks ago

   What kind of errors do you get?

   I am also having problems. The theme is broken, as not even the thumbnail image shows up in the admin panel.
   If users are getting errors then the theme is broken. If amendments need to be made by the user then the theme is a hoax. These guys seem to be creaming before they close shop.
   The previous theme NY1 worked seamlessly without having to hire an IT guru to fix it. I know three other who have bought the theme and they're a;; having problems too. I am leaving negative feedbacks about the theme. Shame. Good theme, bad sellers.

   I did not find the 'left-column' and the 'right column' plugins. Anyone know where I can get them ? the rest seems to work though.

   Good luck getting any support on a StyleWP theme. They used to have a great support system and over the past few months it has disappeared and no way to contact the author.

   I'm using the Playmaker2 theme and have been happy with it but not happy that the author is impossible to get a hold. It's a shame because the themes look great.

   I'd suggest finding a new theme before you get too much time invested.

   I got it. You must reset all the permissions to 755 or 777 to make it work.
   Then go into admin and choose a setting and save it to activate it.
   Its a tricky theme and not that good.
   The video display is minimized to one with not as widgets as the first theme.
   Anyway thats how you solve it. Change the permissions to 777, for folders and for files. REMEMBER you need to change the folders and the files inside the folders all to 777.

   755 is probably a safer bet since many hosts have 777 disabled for security reasons.

    make sure u select a layout a or b from the setting. Otherwise it doesn't show right and shows errors. The developer should set a or b as default.
